DS Kompoziti d.o.o. combines composite manufacturing, precision engineering and CNC technology. Our experience began with a very specific challenge: producing precise tooling for the manufacture of high-performance model sailplanes.
What started as a need for our own products developed into a broader manufacturing capability. Today, we combine our experience in composites and precision machining to produce components, tooling and products where accuracy, lightweight construction and consistency matter.
Our journey into CNC manufacturing began in 2013.
While developing modern model aircraft profiles for competitive use, we needed highly accurate moulds for the serial production of the components required to assemble our models. To achieve the precision and repeatability we needed, we purchased our first 3-axis CNC machine.
That machine was used to produce the moulds for the Vortex 2, marking the beginning of our journey into CNC manufacturing.
Since then, we have developed several generations of model sailplanes in the Vortex and Ultima series. At the same time, our CNC capabilities continued to grow.
We expanded from 3-axis machining to 5-axis CNC processing and developed extensive practical knowledge in machining, tooling and manufacturing technology.
The connection between our own products and our manufacturing capabilities remains an important part of who we are. We understand the demands of precision manufacturing not only from the perspective of a supplier, but also from the perspective of a product developer and manufacturer.
Today, our activities are organised around two complementary areas.
Together, these capabilities allow us to combine material knowledge, product experience and precision manufacturing under one company.
We are proud of how far the company has developed since our first CNC machine in 2013. At the same time, we see our development as an ongoing process.
We continue to invest in technology, expand our manufacturing capabilities and develop new products — always with the same focus that started the journey: precision, performance and practical innovation.
